The Hotel Mirage was seen with LOVE

For the first time the success and elegance of Cirque du Soleil
fuses with the music of one of the most beloved rock bands of musical
history: The Beatles.
We were present at the Hotel Mirage in Las Vegas a day before the
premiere of LOVE, where the team of Cirque du Soleil showed us in an
exclusive way everything that occurs behind the scenes of the musical.
LOVE, which is a show loaded of acrobatics, complicated suits, special
effects, and music of the legendary quartet of Liverpool that is
presented in the renewed Mirage Theatre of Las Vegas where for 13 years
they acted the tamers Siegfried and Roy was born from the friendship
that existed among Guy Laliberté, president and founder of Cirque du
Soleil and the former member of The Beatles George Harrison (q.e.p.d).
Laliberté told us that before Harrison died, he participated with his
ideas and concepts to the execution of this project that began its
gestation in the 2000. Laliberte decided to continue with the course of
his creation to honor Harrison’s memory.
The original producer of The Beatles, Sir George Martin and his son,
Giles Martin, took charge of recapitulating the music and unpublished
files of the band and told us that they are very satisfied with the
result. "We are sure that who attends the show is going to feel as if
they were with ‘The Band’ live." "The audience is going to go crazy!"
On the other hand, Dominic Champagne, who wrote and directed the
original concept elaborated on his vision of LOVE. "I wanted to
re-create the experience of what it was to be a Beatle, I wanted the
audience to know its odyssey, enjoy and explore the victories and
experiences of the band that marked an entire era, that their
assistance from the moment they enter the lobby of the theater they
would imagine, experience and be in The Beatles’ universe."
LOVE also counted on the participation of two Beatles: Ringo Starr and
Paul McCartney, and of Yoko Ono, the widow of John Lennon.
To
bring to Las Vegas this powerful entertainment experience, that counts
on 98 technicians, 60 artists and 20 in the team of production, the MGM
Mirage sent to build a theater especially designed for the projection
of this new idea of Cirque du Soleil.

El Hotel Mirage se viste de LOVE

Por primera vez el lucimiento y elegancia de Cirque du Soleil
se combina con la música de una de las bandas más famosas de la
historia musical: Los Beatles.
Estuvimos presentes en el Hotel Mirage de las Vegas un día antes de la
premiere de LOVE, en donde el equipo de Cirque du Soleil nos mostró de
manera exclusiva todo lo que ocurre detrás del musical.
LOVE, el cual es un show cargado de acrobacias, complicados trajes,
efectos especiales, y música del legendario cuarteto de Liverpool que
se presenta en el renovado Mirage Theatre de Las Vegas, donde durante
13 años actuaron los domadores Siegfried y Roy nació a partir de la
amistad que existió entre Guy Laliberté, presidente y fundador de
Cirque du Soleil y el ex miembro de Los Beatles George Harrison
(q.e.p.d).
Laliberté nos contó que antes de que muriera Harrison, él participó con
sus ideas y conceptos a la realización de este proyecto que comenzó a
gestarse en el 2000 y que decidió continuar con el curso de su creación
para honrar su memoria.
El productor original de Los Beatles Sir George Martin y su hijo Giles
Martin, quienes se encargaron de recapitular la música y archivos
inéditos de la banda nos comentaron que están muy satisfechos con el
resultado. “Estamos seguros que toda la gente que acuda al show se va a
sentir como si estuvieran con el grupo en vivo.” “¡El público va a
enloquecer!”
Por otro lado, Dominic Champagne, quien escribió y dirigió el concepto
original nos explicó su visión de LOVE. “Quise recrear la experiencia
de lo que fue ser un Beatle, quise que la audiencia conociera su
odisea, disfrutara y explorara de las victorias y experiencias del
grupo que marcó toda una época, que los asistentes desde el momento de
entrar al lobby del teatro se sintieran en el universo de Los Beatles y
que el público se sintiera dentro del escenario.”
LOVE también contó con la aportación de dos Beatles: Ringo Starr y Paul McCartney, y de Yoko Ono, la viuda de John Lennon.
Para traer a Las Vegas este esplendoroso espectáculo, que cuenta con 98
técnicos, 60 artistas y 20 en el equipo de producción, el MGM Mirage

esta nueva idea de Cirque du Soleil.
